The ports Apple Mail fills in are correct. The one thing that still bites is Automatically manage connection settings, which arrives switched on and can move you to a port that refuses to send.

  1. Settings, Mail, Accounts, Add Account, Other, Add Mail Account.
  2. Choose IMAP. Host name mail.nyxe.app on both servers.
  3. Fill the outgoing user name and password too, even though iPhone marks them optional.
  4. If sending fails, reopen the account, SMTP, primary server, and turn Automatically manage connection settings off.
IF IT FAILS

Two messages, one fix each.

Relay not allowed

It sent without signing in. Put your address and password on the outgoing server.

User name or password is incorrect

Use your whole address as the user name, on both servers.
